Warren Zeiders Releases Debut EP, 717 Tapes

Central PA's rising country singer/songwriter Warren Zeiders has released his gritty new EP 717 Tapes. The new EP collects some of Hershey native's most striking original songs, rendered in his authentic signature Americana sound. Zeiders’ beloved otherworldly howl sends shivers down spines from the start with on-the-run anthem “Never Look Back.” Each of the tracks harness his innate, intense vocal power and his memorable knack for vivid lyrical imagery. “Boys for Life” finds Zeiders knocking back cold ones with his ride-or-die brothers.
The 22-year old rocker pays tribute to his roots on the dusty “Dirt Road Don’t.” Rough love rears its honest yet, beautiful story on “Loving & Hating You.” Finally, Zeiders walks the line between damnation and salvation on his rebel manifesto, “Ride the Lightning,” for which he also recently released his stirring debut video. While the 717 Tapes EP is stripped down to the essentials — Zeiders’ commanding baritone and a resonant acoustic guitar—it finds the Pennsylvania native collaborating with some of country music’s most in-demand songwriters, including Eric Paslay, Tim Nichols, and Lindsay Rimes. The collection makes it clear who Zeiders is and where he’s coming from, with a sound that recalls classic country with the youthful energy of alt-country rock of Drive By Truckers, Jason Isbell, Lucero and Son Volt, among others.
In his brief career thus far, Zeiders has earned comparisons to Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen, and Whiskey Myers. With the strength of his voice and striking songwriting, he’s amassed an undeniable social media following, garnering over 200 million views on TikTok and over 85 million streams across platforms. And yet, the growth he’s shown on each track shows that Zeiders is only just getting started. Listeners can expect to hear a lot more from Warren Zeiders in the near future.
