WXPN Welcomes Grace Potter to the Fillmore Philly - Friday January 24th

Coming up this Friday night, WXPN welcomes singer-songwriter Grace Potter to The Fillmore Philly, making her debut at the Philly venue. Grace is currently out on 3-month tour celebrating the release of her most recent album, Daylight, her seventh record. The new album emerges as her most emotionally revealing, musically daring, and exactingly realized body of work to date. Potter hopes that Daylight’s fearless honesty might inspire each listener to embrace their own truth, in all its messy complexity. “This album is about being able to take complete ownership of your feelings, without any anger or hate or shame. And that can be absolutely terrifying— but once you get to the other side, it’s exhilarating. It’s the feeling of knowing that you’re finally home.”
Potter has been on the road and has made festival appearances, taking the stage with the likes of Warren Haynes, The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Neil Young and more. She'll again headline this year's 10th anniversary of Grand Point North on September 12 & 13 at Waterfront Park in Burlington, VT, tickets available at grandpointnorth.com. In support, Nashville's versatile rising star Devon Gilfillian will open the night up for Grace Potter bringing his soulful, urban drive, heard in his most recent hit 'Unchained' and 'High'.
