"Creating a virtual Everyone Orchestra is a unique challenge. Forced innovation I call it. Just the fact that I'm facing the audience/camera when I conduct is a big shift, but one I like. And while of course I can't wait to be able to play music in person with people as soon as possible, I'm having fun with this experiment and I'm looking forward to the results of this next project!” - Matt Butler on the collaborative and creative process behind Virtual Sessions.
Virtual Sessions Volume #2 will be hosted on Noonchorus – an independent community-driven video and live-streaming service that aims to support artists during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Noonchorus allows artists to keep 100% of their earnings from the set ticket price, enabling Everyone Orchestra to compensate all participating artists accordingly in a time of so much financial uncertainty and consistency. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to NAACP in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the betterment of the political, educational and economic equality of rights for all.
