XPoNential Music Festival September 22-24 at Wiggins Park Waterfront & Marina
For 30 years, the XPoNential Music Festival has been drawing audiences from the Greater Philadelphia area, Mid-Atlantic region, and Northeastern US to the Delaware Riverfront. Featuring WXPN’s expertly curated mix of established and new artists, the family-friendly festival offers convenient access via public transportation, natural amphitheaters that produce great sound, extensive food, drink, and vendor selections, and festival seating and riverfront promenades that offer spectacular views of the Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline. WXPN produces the Festival in partnership with the Camden County Board of Commissioners.
XPN Festival is WXPN’s signature annual concert event that draws audiences from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, Mid-Atlantic region, and Northeastern US. As it has done for 30 years, the XPoNential Music Festival will showcase multiple music genres and the expertly-curated mix of established and new artists enjoyed by WXPN members and listeners. With promoter Live Nation, the Festival will present Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, Say She She, Don McCloskey, with Philly's own Nik Greeley & The Operators and Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz on Friday, September 22. Performing on the two stages at Wiggins Park on Saturday September 23rd will be Tegan and Sara, The Hold Steady, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Bailen, Wednesday, Wilder Woods, Celisse, Bobby Rush, Julia Pratt and Moustapha Noumbissi.
Sunday September 24th will see Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers close out the festival, preceded by Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band, grammy-nominated Allison Russell, XPN Fest vets and Philly's own Low Cut Connie, cellist and songwriter Leyla Mccalla, LA's Sunny War, hard-hitting jazz troupe, Mobbluz, and Philly's Indy Pop gang, Velvet Rouge.
