Human Impact at Kung Fu Necktie 11/28
You know when the worst time was to release a debut album? March 2020. Know when Human Impact released their self-titled debut? March 2020, on the day the lockdowns began. The band make their way to Philly later this month at Kung Fu Necktie. As the New York Times said, "Human Impact collects members from three of New York noise’s most important groups — the hardcore-influenced, ultraviolent Unsane, industrial anger mongers Cop Shoot Cop, and erstwhile Lower East Side pummelers Swans..."
“After our debut album being released on the eve of pandemic lockdown, we are extremely happy to finally get out and start doing some live shows,” comments Coleman regarding the impending run, speaking with Nextmosh in July, “We love our recorded material, but Human Impact is meant to be experienced live and in person. This fall US tour will kick off an ongoing effort to tour through the US and Europe through 2021 and 2022.” The 10-track album by Human Impact was hailed by Rolling Stone (“it sounds as heavy as a sledgehammer”), Metal Hammer (“one of the best albums of 2020”), and the Chicago Reader (“noise rock luminaries converge to explore despair and hope”). Human Impact kicks off their tour at Market Hotel in Brooklyn on 11/26 then makes their way to Philly at Kung Fu Necktie on 11/28 with BOOZEWA & L.M.I, tickets can be purchased here:
