Friday night at Ardmore Music Hall with the Krasno/Moore Project duo featuring Galactic's Stanton Moore and Eric Krasno of Lettuce/Soul Live kicking off their early Spring national tour celebrating the upcoming debut recording, 'Book of Queens', with more dates planned for MD, MA, NY, CT, NH, MN, IL, and several west coast dates. With Eric Finland on keys and vocals, the duo was also joined by Danny Mayer on guitar during the second set for several tunes.
The duo is slated to release 'Book of Queens' on March 17th. Recorded at the fabled Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY, and timed well for National Women's Month, is a tribute to women in music, showcasing nine soulful covers written by Nina Simone, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Brittany Howard, Billie Eilish and more. The album also features guest appearances from Branford Marsalis, Cory Henry, and Robert Randolph. Check out photos and audio from the show below.
