Dopapod's Rob Compa to perform Saturday night with Runaway Gin & Catullus at Ardmore Music Hall 5/12
This Saturday night at Ardmore Music Hall, Charleston's Runaway Gin returns to the Philly area and is set to hit the stage to melt faces with quality Phish compositions joined by local jam kings Catullus, who have been invited to this year's Disc Jam Music Festival next month in Stephentown, NY. Ardmore Music Hall always a Phish-friendly spot so you'll be sure to see many familiar faces and friends there this Saturday.
Added to the mix is Dopapod's highly skilled axe-man Rob Compa, who recently relocated to the Burlington, Vermont area, a location chock-full of musicians and great venues. With his band Dopapod taking the year off from touring, Compa has participated in various side-projects this year, including DJ Logic & Friends at Ardmore on 2/24, also appearing at this year's Disc Jam Music Fest June 7-10 with Compa as an Artist at Large throughout the festival. But this time around Compa will perform solo 'tweener' sets on the Ardmore Music Hall stage in-between the sets of Catullus and Runaway Gin's two set performance...maybe if we're lucky we'll see a sit-in for some Phish jams!
