Microcave Set to Release 'A Small Compromise', Performing Two
Night album release run in December
Long Island Improvisational electronica quartet, Microcave, delivers a sound based in dance, trance, classical, jam, and funk, and are set to release their debut album the second week of December, performing a duo of album release shows in Philadelphia and Scranton. The band initially released their first single, Windmills, from the new album titled, ‘A Small Compromise’, then shortly after, released the second heavy-hitting track, Sequencer, in late October, with the third single, 'Hudson's Retreat' just put out on Black Friday. High energy dance grooves, shreddy guitar licks, and upbeat tempos layer throughout the album with skillful moves on display. The quartet recently performed with Cape Cod jammers, The New Motif, at Park City Music Hall in Bridgeport, CT and will celebrate the album release in Philly at Silk City with Newpy Hundo & Necika, Solar Circuit's duo of Nick and Becca Orlove, Thursday December 15th, and again the next day at Scranton's Backyard Ale House with Newpy Hundo and visuals by Nasstronaut, on the 16th.
