The 2018 XPoNential Music Festival at Wiggins Park & BB&T Pavilion - June 27-29
Just under a month away, The 2018 XPoNential Music Festival presented by Subaru at Wiggins Park and BB&T Pavilion on the Delaware Riverfront in Camden, NJ will mark the 25th consecutive year that the Philadelphia public music radio station, WXPN 88.5 FM, has presented a summer outdoor music festival. This year's event will feature 35+ diverse artists performing on three stages with plenty of activities for kids in the 4-acre Camden Children's Garden, and excellent/affordable local food & drink vendors, including Dogfish Head beer.
We'll see the likes of hometown Philly acts appearing, including Harmony Woods, the funky Swift Technique, the Greg Sover Band, Hurry, and West Philadelphia's Donn T & Chill Moody performing as &More, who recently paired up and released their debut single, "My Own Light". Alongside, this year's headliners will be David Byrne, Sturgill Simpson, Sylvan Esso, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and The War On Drugs, all performing at the BB&T Pavilion. One new project we are excited to see is Bermuda Triangle, featuring Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes with Becca Mancari and Jesse Lafser. Plus, we'll hear from artists originally from the Philly area now based in LA and Nashville, respectively, Mt. Joy and Devon Gilfillian, in addition to many artists representing indie rock, African, gospel, rap & hip-hop and more. See the full 3-day lineup below.
