Railroad Earth: "Horn-O-Plenty" at Sherman Theater 11/25-26
For the tenth year, Americana/Bluegrass veterans, Railroad Earth will be hosting their Two-Day “Horn-O-Plenty” festival at The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA this weekend. With close ties to Stroudsburg, the Thanksgiving weekend is a homecoming for the band, seeing their friends and family from near and far. Railroad Earth, even though through their years has gained national attention for their one of a kind sound and well thought out lyrics, have stayed “grounded” as musicians, as family, and as people. Their fan-base, coined “ Hobos”, may remind you of another influential American band that's been around a long while, The Grateful Dead, traveling from city to city for the shows as devoted fans do.
On Friday evening the group will be joined by Circles Around The Sun, a band convened by guitarist Neal Casal and the creators of last year’s “GD50” interlude music. On Saturday evening they'll be joined their close friends, the psychedelic/bluegrass outfit, Boris Garcia.
