Phantasm set to release 'Shadow Work' and Perform at Ortlieb's 7/23
High-energy Philly progressive rock trio, Phantasm, are set to release their newest album, 'Shadow Work' on July 22nd and the band will celebrate the release in Northern Liberties at Ortlieb's on July 23rd with TC Superstar, The Dead Flowers, Andorra, and Fossils from the Future. Just last month the band released the first single from the upcoming album, titled 'Spirit Box (Tuned To You)' with the release party with Huxley & Gristmill at Dobbs on South Street on June 11th.
Originally hailing from western New York State, Phantasm toured heavily in 2006 for their debut release, Clever Cunning Actor, and developed a strong reputation as a powerful band for their explosive live shows with memorable stage antics. In 2007 the band migrated to Philadelphia and immersed themselves in the city's vibrant music scene, while extensively touring cities along the east coast and opening for bands like Living Colour, Halestorm, Andrew W.K. and the Memorials. Phantasm recently released the official video for 'Spirit Box (Tuned to You)' directed by drummer Jay Yachetta in Philly at Rittenhouse Filmworks, watch that below.
