Wednesday Night in Philadelphia with Toronto's Zuffalo at The Fire 7/3/24
Wednesday night in Philly at The Fire with Toronto-based funk n' jammers, Zuffalo, with US travel visas approved and currently out touring their sophomore album, Birdbrain. Groovy jams were skillfully delivered, with each band member taking some time to show us their chops, and having dual vocalists was also a treat(they usually have three!). We saw keyboardist Kim Manning and bassist Mikey Vukovich join in some good vocal harmonies together in several tunes throughout their 2-set stand in the seat of liberty. Just this past Sunday the band joined forces with Colorado jam titans, Magic Beans, to kick the US tour off in Buffalo, NY at Buffalo Ironworks. The quartet continues on for a few shows in northern NY before returning back to Niagara Falls for the Nikola Tesla Festival on July 13th and then finally a home show in Toronto on the 19th.
