070 Shake, a New Jersey native, returned close to home for last night’s performance in Philadelphia. Shake, the multihyphenate rapper-singer-songwriter, performed much of her third studio album, Petrichor, along with familiar favorites off You Can’t’ Kill Me (2022) and Modus Vivendi (2020). The Fillmore, filled to much of its 2500-person capacity, was transformed into an intimate, freeing space by Shake’s guttural, sometimes haunting vocals, intense energy, and abstract accompanying visuals.
