The Last Dinner Party Brought the Fire to Franklin Music Hall 4/15/2026

If you were at Johnny Brenda's the last time The Last Dinner Party came through Philly, you already knew this was going to happen eventually. Abigail Morris brought it up herself last night: Last time they were here in Philly, they were playing to 250 people at the Fishtown venue. Last night it was 2,500 at Franklin Music Hall.
They opened with a tour debut of “Prelude to Ecstasy,” which set the tone immediately. Big, dramatic and a little bit of a cathedral sound, perfectly matching the elaborate and gorgeous set decor. “Agnus Dei” came right after, and the crowd was all in. Georgia Davies, the group’s bassist, sat out this stretch of tour dates to recover from a back injury. A fan passed a handwritten note to the stage for Morris to read out loud, wishing Georgia well, and the whole crowd quieted to listen in.
The From The Pyre setlist ran 22 songs and didn't drag once. They included newer hits and, of course, older favorites. “Nothing Matters” did what it always does, and closing with “Agnus Dei” reprise was a perfect ending. They're heading to the Northeast and Canada over the next few days, and if you missed this tour, they just announced they'll be out this fall with Sombr on his You Are the Reason North American tour. Don’t blow your second chance to see them!
