Rising Los Angeles alt-rocker quartet, Rocket, came to Philly's Warehouse on Watts last night joined by Bleary Eyed and by Cashier, showcasing their nostalgic 90s-inspired, guitar=driven sound and emotionally raw performance. Formed during the pandemic, the group comprised of four childhood friends began writing songs in a cramped apartment. The band eventually rented out a rehearsal space and quickly gained traction in the LA DIY scene. Fast forward to last month, the band has released their debut studio album, R Is for Rocket. The band continues on to Brooklyn tonight to perform at Baby's All Right.
