Anna Shoemaker Coming to The Foundry at Fillmore Philly 5/7/2025
This Spring, Anna Shoemaker will be joining Mallrat on her headline tour, performing here in her hometown at The Foundry at the Fillmore Philly on Wednesday on May 7.
Anna just released her sophomore album Someone Should Stop Her on February 21, a deeply personal album as it finds Anna on the road - moving from NYC to LA, after a heartbreak and leaving a long-time relationship which she knew wasn’t right. The album displays Shoemaker shedding all her NYC angst for LA sunshine and wistful future — thus the record is more “songwriter” than her June 2023 EP, Hey, Anna, mostly recorded in Nashville.
Featured on People’s Emerging Artists list and Alt Press' Rising Artists list, she’s the perfect mix of Phoebe Bridgers’ spiraling charm, Holly Humberstone’s sweet lilt, and the raw, unfiltered energy of ’90s legends like Alanis Morissette and Sheryl Crow.
